Baby parade!

The boys were in the baby parade in Stone Harbor. They did not win but they had a blast. Drew was a fisherman "catching" his brother. The name of the boat conveniently was "catch of the day". Drew thought he was the grand marshall of the parade. He was waving to everyone and yelling, "here I come" like he was a celebrity. Everyone agreed if there was an award for most friendly he would have got it! They did get a trophy for participating which Drew has proudly This is when we were lining up. The little girl kept coming over and Drew gave her his famous "hi honey" greeting!

Here are the boys on the parade route!

Check out the eyebrow in this one.

He is such a little cheeser! I think he is destined to be a model with all his poses!

We will be entering Wildwood's parapde in August so keep your fingers crossed!

Happy Birthday Mom-Mom!

Mom-mom's birthday is actually tomorrow but we celebrated tonight since she has to work on her real birthday. First we went to dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant with mom-mom, pop-pop, Aunt Shell and cousin Rocco. Daddy had to work so mommy wa son her own with the boys. Donnie really likes wonton soup and chicken fried rice!

Drew had fun hanging out with Rocco and getting right to the point about whatever he was talking about!

After dinner it was time for birthdya cake. Mommy gave Drew the job of picking out the cake for mom-mom so he found a nice Barney one for her! Of course she absolutely loved it!

Rocco and Drew helped mom-mom blow out the candles (which were trick ones) and try was trying to figure out why they wouldn't go out. This of course was after DRew sang his rendition of "Happy Cake" (which is his version of Happy Birthday to You)! I have a video to put on here but I have to download it.

After cake the boys took a bath and then played with mom-mom on the floor with the trains.

Mom-mom's birthday celebration just happened to fall on a Friday night which is when Wildwood has their weekly fireworks display. Mommy kept the boys awake (she paid for it the next day) until 10:30. Drew ABSOLUTELY LOVES fireworks. It is so cute to watch him. He makes the sound effects and everything! The smart little bugger was watching Mickey Mouse the other day and there was fireworks on there and Drew said, "see them on Friday mommy". It is so funny some of the things he remembers.

We finally made it home to bed and Drew called mom-mom first thing to wish her "Happy Cake" on her real birthday!

Boardwalk!

Mommy caught up with some of her old friends from highschool and we all headed to the boardwalk. Mommy's friend Nicole came with her two year old Anthony (whose party we will be going to next week to ride on horses) and Tara came with 5 month old Maya. Of course Maya and Donnie just watched as the big boys went on the rides but they still enjoyed themselves!

The video is a little dark but really cute!

Anthony's mommy said he wasn't a big fan of the fast rides but after a day up there with Drew he became a pro! They took it easy at first on the boats.

Then they tried out the motorcycles. Drew was not very happy having to share his motorcycle as you can see by his face. He actually tried to throw the little girl off when her mommy put her on there! I am sure it will only be a matter of time before he wants little girls on his bike althought he seems to like older women or "honies" as he calls them.

Finally they got to the fast rides. This was called the demolition derby where the cars looked like they were going to crash and then spun around really quick. The boys loved it. They also REALLY REALLY REALLY loved the tiltawhirl!

Drew has turned out to be quite the little dare devil. Check him out in this video. He is in Car #1 and you will notice he has his hands in the air NOT holding on. Mommy decided to sit this one out to watch the babies while Tara took Drew on the ride.

It was an awesome night. Mommy had fun catching up with her friends and the boys had fun playing. We can't wait to do it again!

Catching up....

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been a while since we posted but things have been busy! Mommy is going to try and make up for it by putting LOTS of cute pictures in this post for you! We've gone to the beach a few times but mommy of course forgot the camera. Speaking of mommy she was side tracked for a few days because she got a bite on her leg. She is better now so we are back on track! Daddy went fishing last week and when he came in mommy and the boys met him at the marina for dinner. It was a beautiful night and we got to see a wonderful sunset while we were there. Drew had some fried shrimp while Donnie stuck to ravioli's and crackers. He LOVED the crackers and would get made when they ran out! He was very entertained by the seagulls, he didn't know which way to look! I thought he was going to break his neck. The boys got to go on daddy's boat after dinner but you guessed it.....mommy left the camera in the car!

After dinner we came home and Drew was chasing frogs around the yard. Daddy picked one up for him and it went pee pee on his hand so Drew opted to just look at and chase them! He did however get on the ground to sit next to one for a picture.

Drew finally gave up on the frogs and decided to come in for a bath. While he was waiting for the tub to fill up he decided to give his brother some love. He doesn't want to do anything cute to Donnie anymore unless there is a camera present to capture it. He specifically says, "mommy I tickle brother, get the camera".

Donnie is getting so close to crawling it will be any second now. He pulls himself around like commando and if he is sitting he can scoot his butt all around (especially in the slippery tub). He is ALWAYS smiling. Mommy can't even make a call on her cell phone without him smiling because he just assumes he is getting is picture taken.

After mommy takes Donnie out of the tub Drew has a new trick he likes to do. He slides down the back of the tub and then he "swims" on the bottom. He is too much sometimes.

Before bedtime the boys spent some more time together playing around in Donnie's crib. Drew better be careful because it won't be long before Donnie is bigger then him and can man handle him right back!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Hello everyone! We hope you all enjoyed your holiday even though it was in the middle of the week! We had a pretty laid back day. Mommy was off for the day so we went to lunch with her and Daddy and then headed to the Acme. Drew decided while we were there it was a good idea to take off his shoes and throw them out of the fire truck cart. We didn;t even realize it until he said "Daddy I took my shoes off". Luckily Mommy called later and someone turned them in! Then Drew was feeling a little more frisky and decided to mess with his brother. He doesn't realize Donnie is getting bigger everyday and can hold his own pretty good. After some screaming and biting and hitting and crying Mommy went to break it up and found Drew's cheek bleeding. He said "brother punched me". Mommy thoguht it was pretty funny Drew got beat up by a 9 month old! At one point though Drew didn't realize anyone was watching and he hugged Donnie and gave him a kiss then rubbed his head and said "I love you brother". I hope we have more moments like this one and not the other in the future! Later on that night Daddy had to work so Mommy went over to Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop's house for a BBQ with Aunt Shell and Rocco. Drew was waiting all dya for the fireworks but unfortunately the wind was too bad and they had to cancel them. The boys still had a good time playing and Mommy tried to get them to stop for a minute for a few pictures (yeah right)!
Drew does love his brother. As soon as I said will you hold brother for a picture he said yes and sat right down.

Donnie LOVES to stand up now. He may actually start moving sooner then Drew did (then Mommy will really be in for it)! And yes Mommy did the whole dorky matching outfit thing!

Donnie couldn't decide what toy he wanted to play with so he took them all out of the basket!

Mommy with her boys. As you can see Drew wants to keep running around with Rocco.
Donnie loves to blow raspberries!

He also loves taking pictures (unlike his brother who used to love it). I am sure once he can walk I will no longer get him to sit either!

They rescheduled the fireworks for Friday night so hopefully Daddy will get to come along then too!
